Blokes Weekend 2008

Blokes Weekend 2008
Friday 28 - Sunday 30 March

What a top weekend away! Around 50 blokes of all ages (little blokes and big blokes) trekked two hours out of Armidale to West Kunderang – a magnificent New England, gorge country cattle property, on the banks of the Macleay river and surrounded by the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park.

Top grassy campsite nestled just above the river among beautiful white cedar trees (complete with huge roving goannas!). Top canoe fun whether in the river or on it! Top homemade rope swing perched high over water hole (well done the intrepid tree-scaling Calla!). Top company of great blokes. Top breakfast pancakes courtesy of Big Billy Bruce. Top devotion from Psalm 8 (thanks to Brian Sindel) reminding of our awesome Creator God and his love and care for us.

Thanks to Chris Millet for organizing a great camp!

Let’s do it again next year!
