The aim of Kick-off was to spend time getting to know each other, in a way that can't be done over a cup of tea after church. We enjoyed lots of free time, defrosting (from the Armidale cold) at the beach, and getting to know each other over lazing around in the shade, sharing a coffee, swimming at the beach, throwing a Frisbee or playing cards. As well as surviving a Tsunami, we also heard some great talks from Derek on the theme of faith, hope and love; coving the foundations of christian life.
