Welcome to St Mark's Chapel and the Anglican Chaplaincy UNE

When we meet

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25

A unique aspect of the Living God is his ‘gathering’ nature. He graciously calls a people who were ‘not a people’ to Himself and binds them together in common love and purpose under His leadership through His Word and equips them for service by His Spirit.

So it’s a great privilege to meet together – especially given the freedom we have in Australia. We seek to make the most of the times we have to exhort, encourage and support each other week by week as together we grow towards fullness in Christ.

A typical Chapel church meeting

Meeting length: Approximately 1 hour 15 mins

Each week we usually:
> Sing a few songs about our great God

> Listen to the Bible read (Old Testament and New Testament)

> Listen to a talk explaining a part of the Bible. Bible Talks

> Talk to God together in prayer

> Enjoy each others company afterward for morning tea or supper

> Once a month we have communion / The Lord's Supper

Sat@6 Church

Sat@6 meets at 6pm each Saturday evening and is made up of a wide cross-section of people including young workers, young families and a few older folk. We have a Kidz Klub and parent-run Creche.

AM Church Sunday mornings @ 9.30am

AM Church is comprised mainly of families, a few singles and older folk whose kids have moved on. We run a parent-operated Creche for kids under 5, a Kidz Club for children 5 - 12 and JTs (a youth discipleship group) for teenagers 12 and up. A number of our energetic UNEchurch university students help lead Kidz Klub and JTs.

UneChurch Sunday evenings @7pm

UNEchurch is a vibrant, enthusiastic gathering, made up primarily of uni students and graduates studying and working around Armidale - though you don't need to be an academic type to feel welcome!

Weekdays

We also have a range of other weekly, monthly and yearly activities and a network of small groups that provide for a level of mutual care, support and learning from the Bible not readily possible through weekend church. We seek to cater for and grow people of all ages and stages of life – Men , Women , Children , Youth, and Students .
