About

St Marks annual Teach-In is a great way to enjoy focused fellowship & teaching without the hassle and cost of travel and accomodation! This year we’re fortunate to have Rob & Claire Smith joining us as our key speakers.

Rob spent nearly 14 years in Anglican pastoral ministry and now lectures full-time at Sydney Missionary & Bible College. His theme will be ‘Eschatology!? What on earth is it and why on earth does it matter?’ He has also had a long career in popular music and writes and records Christian congregational songs. We’ll tap into his expertise in this area during a seminar on Saturday afternoon and hear him performing live Saturday night.

Claire trained as a nursing sister and worked in oncology and palliative care, before studying theology at Moore College. She has recently completed a PHD examining the place and practice of educational activities in three early New Testament communities. Claire has studied and spoken widely on male/female roles in personal and church life and with Rob, will lead a seminar over Saturday lunch.
